“Celebrate Culture Through Cooking" was an event that transpired on the 6th of April at Varna University of Management, Bulgaria. Wearing the national Barong attire with pride, the Louisian exchange students took part of such an exciting opportunity to meet different cultures, taste multinational food, and at the same time have fun with friends.
The teams that participated in the cooking event were Italy, Uzbekistan, France, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Philippines. To share the diversity of flavors amongst intercultural relationships, team Philippines decided to prepare the well-known signature Filipino dish, Chicken Adobo, alongside the pairing of Sinangag and Camote Cue for dessert. Most of the Erasmus students and faculty coordinators loved the Adobo! In fact, the pan containing the Chicken Adobo turned empty in a snap because of the distinct and delicious flavor that tickled everyone’s appetite, especially those students coming from other countries. Overall, the experience stands to be memorable, experiential, and unforgettable!
